Who we are

Trusted Smiles LLC ("we") provides scheduling software to dental practices. We act as a service provider to those practices. Your dental practice controls your patient records; we process information only as needed to provide scheduling services to the practice, under a written agreement with the practice.

Information we handle

To provide scheduling services we may handle your name, mobile phone number, appointment dates and times, and the type of appointment your practice has planned for you. We do not handle payment card information.

Text messaging

We send appointment and scheduling text messages on behalf of your dental practice only to patients who have consented to receive them. No mobile information will be shared with third parties or affiliates for marketing or promotional purposes. Information sharing to subcontractors in support services, such as customer service, is permitted. All other use case categories exclude text messaging originator opt-in data and consent; this information will not be shared with any third parties.

How we protect information

Information is transmitted over encrypted connections, stored on access-controlled systems, and retained only as long as needed to provide services to your practice or as required by law. Our staff and subcontractors are bound by confidentiality and, where applicable, business associate agreements under HIPAA.

Your choices

Reply STOP to any text message to stop receiving texts. Contact your dental practice to update your contact preferences or to ask about your records. You may also reach us through the contact page.

Changes

We will post any changes to this policy on this page with a new effective date.
